Mini-Pupillages 

Mini-pupillages generally last for two days and, save in exceptional circumstances, take place in specific weeks in July and December of each year.

The next two mini-pupillage weeks are going to take place in the week beginning 13th December 2010 and the week beginning 4th July 2011. Applications should be submitted no later than 6 weeks prior to the date of the relevant mini-pupillage week. 

Mini-pupillages do not involve formal assessment but we do record and provide you with some feedback on your likely suitability for pupillage in chambers.   Mini-pupillages are not a pre-requisite for a pupillage application However, we do encourage applicants to do a mini-pupillage in Chambers we believe they provide a fantastic opportunity to get an understanding of the work done in chambers and, perhaps even more importantly, an opportunity to meet members of Chambers and get a feel for the working environment here.

If applicants have any particular requirements or interests they should make this clear on the application form (as to which see below). Where possible we will then make necessary arrangements prior to the mini-pupillage.

How to apply for mini-pupillage

Mini-pupillages are granted after a review of an application form by two members of Chambers.  The details are as follows:
• 2 days duration;
• Up to £50 travelling expenses
